We were battling persistent dry skin and eczema flare-ups when we realised that our tap water—with chlorine levels comparable to a quarter of a swimming pool's—was stripping away natural oils with every shower. The available shower filters felt cheap, performed poorly, or simply didn't deliver the pure water they claimed.

So in 2024, from our home base in Auckland, New Zealand, we decided to look for something better. After tirelessly searching, we founded the nimbeau filtered shower head, transforming ordinary showers into moments of genuine self-care. Early customers shared how the water felt noticeably softer and their skin and hair looked healthier, confirming we'd found something special.
